This term Year Six took the number 19 bus to Swineford and hiked up to the top of Kelston Round Top. They had to walk up hill for the first hour until they reached the Iron Age Fort which led to Bath Race Course. From the top the views were fantastic and they had lots of energy left to go down onto the Cotswolds Way which led to the Kelston Round Top summit path. Everyone enjoyed their lunch sitting looking out over the view. We could see the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Brecon Beacons and all over Bristol.
The way back down was easy by comparison and it was lovely to stand in the stream at the bottom to cool our feet off.
Everyone had a fabulous day!
